Tis The Season Book Tag

Really Emmie, another Christmas book tag? Well, er… yes. I love tags, I love Christmas and I need to get these out of my system before it’s January :).

1. Do you have a favourite winter read?

Well, I just did a poll on Instagram about winter being the perfect time to read murder mysteries, but apparently no one agrees with me XD.

I also recently wrote a post on 5 Books To Get You Into The Winter Spirit, including one murder mystery ’cause NO ONE CAN STOP ME ;).

2. Find a book with blue on the cover!

We, The Drowned by Carsten Jensen. I took this picture for my post on The 10 Prettiest Books I Own.

3. Find a book you’d use as the star on a Christmas tree!

I don’t know any books with a star on the cover, so I will choose this book with its cosy, wintery dust jacket. It makes me think of the Danish word ‘hygge’. It also has shiny gold lettering (in the right light).

Time to look for a massive tree to support this hardcover…

4. Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation!

Hogsmeade! I could buy sweets at Honeydukes, have a hot drink at The Three Broomsticks and look at the Shrieking Shack (from a safe distance). Sounds a treat!

5. Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your winter vacation!

Favourite drink: glühwein

Favourite treat: apple cinnamon muffins or German Vanillekipferl

Favourite movie: While You Were Sleeping

It’s a wonderful love story, the family is the cutest and Sandra Bullock is absolutely amazing in it!

8. Who do you tag?

I tag whoever wants to do this tag. It’s good fun, but it’s also almost Christmas and I don’t want to make anyone feel pressured by tagging them. ❤
