bookending-winterHey all,

This year I’m participating in the Bookending Winter 2018 event. Yay! I’m looking forward to a month full of prompts, bloghopping and christmassy vibes :). The event is hosted by Clo @ Book Dragons and Sam @ Fictionally Sam. There are so many different ways to participate in this event that I suggest you take a look at their original post; a short summary by me probably wouldn’t do it justice. I will say that I am especially excited about this event because it allows for so much freedom due to the many ways you can take part in it. Moreover, the minimum amount of posts you have to write to participate is three, which sounds very doable compared to some of the events I’ve seen floating around the bloggosphere.

As part of this event, I will also be participating in this season’s Tidyathon. For this challenge you set aside some time during the month to do some tidying up on your blog or on Goodreads. I recently changed my layout from this…

… to this,

so my sidebar and featured posts are very recent. However, there are still some of the more odious layout-change to do’s left, and this Tidyathon will be a good motivation to get down to those. My little list is:

  • Add ‘read more’ tags to my previous blog posts for at least one hour.
  • Edit at least one of the blog post drafts that have previously been too lazy for.
  • Have a look at making graphics for some of my recurring segments.

And then for Goodreads:

  • Sort through my Goodreads TBR shelf. (Max. half an hour.)

If you’re also participating in the Bookend event or Tidyathon, please leave a comment below and I will keep an eye out for your posts :).

I have some cosy socks on, a heartwarming book at the ready and already drunk half of my tea. December, here I come!

Best wishes, Emmie

  1. Eeeek we’re so happy to have you join us! Yeah 3 posts is a nice smol number, it’s relatively manageable. Oooo Tidyathon, the tidyathon will be fun 😉 hopefully I’ll have to get myself organised for that and yell at y’all on twitter so we can all support one another hehe.

  2. I have a couple of things I want to do for Tidyathon. Like make graphics for reoccurring posts, get my list of all reviews written and giveaways up to date, check for any broken links, update a few posts and cross post some reviews.
